CURTIS R. BURDETT

After graduating from Brigham Young University in
1970 with a B.S. in Geology, Mr. Burdett continued his education at San Diego State University with Post Graduate Studies courses in Geology, and also completed a 40-hour Hazardous Materials Course.
Curtis began working for the County of San Diego as a Geology Technician/Geologist in
1975. In 1977 Mr. Burdett began working for Southern California Soil and Testing, Inc.
His responsibilities included geotechnical investigations, analysis of geologic hazards, preparation of geologic reconnaissance reports, and preparation of seismicity reports for land development projects, subsurface investigations, field mapping, hydrology studies and mineralogy.
He also performed site assessments, environmental surveys and toxic site investigations for owners, prospective developers and lending institutions. These duties led to extensive experience in identifying and analyzing geologic conditions throughout Southern California as they relate to land development projects.
